Who are we?

The Literacy Association of Tennessee (LAT) promotes a literate society by bringing together a network of people dedicated to sharing knowledge and information about literacy through programs and services. We are governed by a board of volunteers from all across the state of Tennessee.

LAT would love for you to join us, and your local chapter, in our quest to:

  • promote a literate society in Tennessee
  • provide leadership in the field of literacy
  • collaborate with other organizations to enhance literacy throughout the state

Why join LAT?

Members of LAT have many resources available to them to help advocate for literacy education,, build their professional network, and grow their professional knowledge! These include grants, scholarships, our professional journal, and many more!
