Professional Knowledge & Networking
Grants & Scholarships
Join us in our work to increase literacy in the lives of Tennessee students and citizens. Ways you can contribute to our work:
LAT can increase your professional knowledge through our annual conference, as well as our bi-annual journal. The conference also provides networking opportunities with others across our great state, from teachers and administrators, to higher-ed personnel and government officials.
In addition, each local chapter offers programming that will also increase your professional knowledge and give you the opportunity to network with other professionals in the field, right in your own backyard!
By becoming a member of LAT, you are eligible to apply for our grants and scholarships to help you advance your own mission to increase literacy in your area! The following are grants and scholarships you are eligible to apply for as a member of LAT:
All members of LAT receive a discount on registration for our annual state conference. The 2018 general conference registration fee is $180, whereas members only pay $150.
(Members also receive a discount on the Tuesday Literacy Institute, as well. Please see the Conference Page for more details on registration options and pricing, including special rates for students.)
